The Upgrade Party · amen28.us

The United States Constitution has been amended 27 times. The most recent amendment — the 27th, concerning Congressional pay — was ratified in 1992, more than three decades ago.

A Federal Constitutional Convention lets the states get together and create new amendments.

We propose that Amendment 28 (Amen28) be called the "Upgrade Justice Amendment."

What Is an Attorney General?

An attorney general is the chief legal officer and chief law enforcement officer of a government.

In the US, 43 states have an ELECTED Attorney General. Some states have APPOINTED Attorney Generals. At the federal level, the Attorney General is APPOINTED by the President.

To summarize: Amen28 would create a new, elected position of Chief Justice and move every aspect of Justice, Ethics, and Auditing under the jurisdiction and management of the Chief Justice.
